How did you do with your 2018 resolutions? Were they forgotten about within a month of making them? Most resolutions are about negative things, things we want to stop doing in our lives, and that is negative thinking. But we have enough negative going in our lives already, don’t we? So stop resolutions and create a vision for 2018 instead.
Picture where you want be in December, 2019. What do you want to say about yourself that you cannot say now? Make it a positive change. Instead of quitting smoking, imagine yourself living a smoke-free lifestyle. What does that look and feel like? Write it down. Now, what is one small step you can take right now to work toward that vision? What is the next step? Even the longest journey is taken one step at a time.
